We design IranGuard Forum to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We collect only what’s needed for authentication and community features: email address, display name, profile details you provide, and activity such as posts, likes, views, and comments. If you sign in with Google, Google provides your basic profile and email to verify your identity.
We use your information to operate the forum, secure accounts, show your content, deliver notifications, and keep the community safe. We do not sell your data. We avoid invasive tracking and analytics by default.
Email verification and optional two‑factor authentication help protect accounts. Google sign‑in keeps you remembered securely. We enforce bans for users who violate community standards.
We use essential session cookies and minimal local storage to remember your login and preferences. These are required for the site to function. You can clear them in your browser at any time.
We avoid invasive analytics. Basic, aggregated counts such as likes and views appear on posts to help you understand engagement without tracking you across the web.
We do not sell personal data. We share information only as needed to operate the service (for example, storage and hosting providers) and to comply with law or prevent harm.
We retain your account and content while your account is active. You can delete your posts and comments. If you request account deletion, we will remove personal data while preserving public discussion integrity where required.
You can update profile details, change your password, enable 2FA, manage notifications, and delete your content. Use the Settings pages to control these preferences.
This forum is for adults and mature audiences. If we learn that a minor created an account without permission, we will take steps to remove the account and its data.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
